Amanda MacLeod, a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), earned a Master’s in Medical Science from Midwestern University in Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Business from the University of Kansas. Her treatment approach emphasizes understanding patients’ thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to tailor comprehensive healthcare plans aimed at improving their overall quality of life. Her professional philosophy also integrates holistic internal medicine, patient education, and preventative care to reinforce healthcare goals and outcomes.

Amanda provides medication management for psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic and personality disorders, as well as treatment-resistant depression, complex trauma, and behavioral concerns. Additionally, she has had exposure to psychotherapy modalities and is particularly interested in the synergy between psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. She is also skilled in utilizing novel treatment modalities, specifically transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and esketamine.

Amanda is known for her patient-centered approach, characterized by empathy, nonjudgmental care, and a deep belief in the importance of understanding patients’ past experiences to improve overall wellbeing. Originally from Kansas, Amanda pursued her post-graduate education in Arizona before settling in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and their puppy. She appreciates being closer to family and enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys sports, music, reading, and watching TV and movies.
