Ellen Barker-Anderson
Ellen is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, psychological trauma, and bipolar disorder. This includes her training in the use of psychiatric medications to manage distressing symptoms. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ellen practiced for sixteen years as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). With twenty-six years of combined experience in the mental health profession, she is fascinated by how the science of medication management intersects with the art of therapy. Ellen strongly believes that establishing a partnership of trust and mutual respect between provider and patient is the foundation for successful treatment.
